The European Union Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI) is an EU programme aimed at fighting corruption in Ukraine. It is funded by the European Union and co-funded and implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. The Initiative was launched in June 2017 as a joint mechanism to combat corruption in Ukraine.
On October 9, 2025, a Protocol of Cooperation was signed between the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine and the European Union Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI).
Project implementation period: January 1, 2024 – April 30, 2027.
Project objectives and tasks: to support the fight against corruption by achieving significant progress in preventing and combating corruption, ensuring coherence and systemic coordination of anti-corruption efforts across all state and local government bodies, strengthening the capacity of civil society and citizens to contribute to anti-corruption efforts, and ensuring a proper and transparent post-war recovery process in Ukraine.
Main area of cooperation: to support the Commission in conducting competitions for the positions of judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court, including through the procurement of services for the development of additional functionality of the Workflow Automation System (WAS) of the HQCJ, as well as the purchase of technical equipment and services necessary for the successful and transparent organization of such competitions.
The expected impact of the Project is to strengthen the accountability, transparency, and efficiency of the Commission’s exercise of its powers in conducting competitions for filling vacant judicial positions in the High Anti-Corruption Court.
