On May 04, 2026, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, in plenary session, considered the issue of confirming the ability of two candidates to administer justice at the Odesa Court of Appeal.
Valerii Sopilniak and Olha Demianova have confirmed their ability to administer justice at the Odesa Court of Appeal.
Please be reminded that 50 candidates submitted applications to participate in the competition for 23 vacant positions of judges in the Odesa Court of Appeal.
In total, interviews were conducted with 49 candidates: 25 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice, 16 candidates failed to confirm it, and interviews with 8 candidates will be held in the plenary session of the Commission. One candidate withdrew from the competition.
