5 Candidates Have Been Appointed to the Position of Judge Following the Results of the Competition, and One Judge Has Confirmed Her Suitability for the Position Held

Following consideration of the recommendations of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine and submissions of the High Council of Justice, on March 30, 2026, six judges were appointed to the courts of appeal and local courts by Presidential Decrees No. 278/2026–283/2026 (in Ukrainian).

5 candidates were appointed following the results of the competition for general courts of appeal announced by the Commission on September 14, 2023:

  • Roman Solodovnikov to the Zaporizhzhia Court of Appeal (recommended for the position of judge on December 22, 2025);
  • Oleksandr Husach to the Chernihiv Court of Appeal (recommended for the position of judge on December 22, 2025);
  • Dmytro Syvolap to the Chernihiv Court of Appeal (recommended for the position of judge on December 22, 2025);
  • Serhii Mazur to the Chernihiv Court of Appeal (recommended for the position of judge on December 22, 2025);
  • Yevhenii Yanhol to the Sumy Court of Appeal (recommended for the position of judge on September 29, 2025).

One judge has been appointed who, following the results of the qualification assessment, has confirmed her suitability for the position held:

  • Anastasiia Remezok, a judge of the Oleksandriia City and District Court of Kirovohrad Oblast (on August 29, 2024, recognised by the Commission as suitable for the position held).
